You may return all items purchased at Heartland American Products within 30 days of the original delivery in accordance with the following. We will replace at our option, or pay the return shipping cost if the product is defective, or the return is a result of our error. If the item is returned for any other reason you are responsible for the shipping cost both ways and may be charged a restocking fee of 20 %. No returned merchandise will be accepted without a Return Authorization Code issued by Heartland American Products. Credit will be issed in the same manner as payment was received with in 10 business days of receiving the returned item in acceptable reusable condition.
A Return Authorization Code must be received from Heartland American Products customer service represtentative prior to any product being returned. Returns will not be accepted, or credit will not be given for items returned without a Return Authorization Code issued in advance by Heartland American Products. All items should be securely packaged in the manner received to avoid shipping damage. Credit will not be given for returns that are damaged or missing components due to inadequated packaging. Please ensure the Return Authorization Code is clearly identified on the outside of the return. No returns will be accepted without a Return Authorization Code located on the outside of the package.
Damaged Claims
Unforunately damage does accur during shipping from time to time so please inspect your products for visible and hidden damage, or missing components upon recipt. It is important to note any damage or missing components on the Bill of Lading before you and the driver sign off on the shipment. All package and paperwork should be kept until the inspection process is completed. Damage and shortage claims must be reported within 7 business days of delivery. Please contact our customer service department for returns or replacement instructions.
